Essays on The European Economic and Financial Integration: Selected Legal Aspects

In 2013, the institute of law at Birzeit university, conducted the “European Economic and Financial Integration” through the “Regulatory Framework: Steering Legal Aspects” Project, funded with support from European Commission. Consequently, the institute of law issued a paper regarding “Essays on the European Economic and Financial Integration.”

The paper navigates through different legal aspects concerning economy, finance and foreign investment policies. Further, the paper includes seven articles discussing such aspects in Europe and Palestine as follows: i) the extension of the exclusive EU common trade policy to foreign direct investment. By Mahmoud Fayyad; and vii) Transparency Norms, the World Trade Systems and Free Trade Agreements. By Hisham Awwad.
