This is a report that constitutes a combination of two studies by Mr Fateh Azzam. "The section on the treaty bodies is based on a background paper prepared for the joint ILO-UNDP Report Rethinking Economic Growth: Towards Productive and Inclusive Arab Societies (Beirut: ILO, 2012). The section on the Universal Periodic Review is from a study prepared for the UNDP’s Regional Center in Cairo in preparation for the Regional Governance Week held in November 2012."
